This role is strategic. The role is important to the entire BIC organization. This role is also tactical.
Key internal relationships that will make the circulation manager / database manager successful on a day-to-day basis are essential. The job includes working with the Group Publisher, print editors, online content providers, event producers
This position is responsible for facilitating and accomplishing BIC''s vision and core values. The primary responsibility of the Circulation manager is managing and integrating / consolidating several internal databases. The Circulation Manager will maximize the BIC community and develop target audiences for Email / E-newsletter lists, lists of current and potential advertisers, current and potential exhibitor/sponsorship lists, list segmentation, site license programs and development. Metrics management and reporting of Membership growth programs will be developed through list development and management. Circulation Manager will also identify and share sales and recruiting leads.

General: Extremely detail oriented and organized. Strong combination of creative and analytical skills to achieve programs implementation. Must be project oriented and goal oriented.
Subject Matter Knowledge: Strong understanding of list development, management and segmentation is required. Circulation management experience including print and online strongly preferred.
Communications Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written and personal skills. This person must have the ability to communicate programs, strategies and results internally.
First Year Goals:
Manage and build team of 2 - 3 data services reps to achieve 33,000 updated records by end of the year
Maintain existing print subscription list
Maintain existing e-newsletter list
Develop system to manage up to 100K digital e-newsletter subscribers
Develop an opt-in program for email and print subscribers
