COMPANY OVERVIEW: A full service provider for on-site industrial heat treatment solutions.
POSITION TITLE: Account Manager
COMPENSATION: $60k - $80k + commission + company vehicle
LOCATION: Toledo, OH
SUMMARY: The Account Manager is responsible for prospecting and closing new business and managing existing business within a specified geographic, assigned or named territory. The account manager serves as the primary contact for the decision-makers and leads the sales process. The account manager will work closely with the operations, sales management and other company resources to successfully manage the account needs to achieve revenue, gross margin and other targets.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create new sales opportunities for company products and services within the refining and petrochemical markets
Work effectively with internal sales and support personnel, engineering, and technical support personnel to ensure that the customer''s requirements are met in a professional and timely manner
Manage existing and target accounts to develop a comprehensive sales plan that will maximize growth and penetration
Initiate calls and develop contacts for new accounts
Effectively present solutions that meet customer''s current and future needs
Execute the sales process from initial point of contact, presentation, proposals, through closing of the sale.
Cooperate with implementation of new technology and processes that are intended to create more efficient sales forecast and retain customer data
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of four (4) years direct selling experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience with heat treating preferred, industrial experience a must.
Creative selling, project management skills and strategic planning ability required.
Bachelor''s degree is preferred, not required
Should be competitive and self-motivated with strong work ethic
Must be confident and trustworthy with a genuine concern to balance both the company and the customer needs
