Job Description:  

Primarily responsible for acquiring new clients at an acceptable ROI (Return on Investment) through primary print and related media assigned. In order to do this the Associate Marketing Manager/Marketing Manager must research and directly analyze past and present results to determine marketing plans for new market placements, insert and placement costs, frequency of placements, offer and position testing and product/design mix.  Associate Marketing Manager/Marketing Manager will work closely with their immediate supervisor, while making recommendations on most effective media mix to determine the ideal timing and cost investments, as well as media sequencing of the media expansion to achieve budgeted results and requirements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise Media Category - this includes researching and planning media placements, as well as analyzing design and placement cost and performance and making appropriate placement recommendations to their supervisors.  Media supervision includes being primary contact and administrator for specific media as assigned
  • Ensure that media plans incorporate the most updated information for Placement and Print Expense, market performance, design results, customer FEV''s (Future Enterprise Values), ROI and CPO (Cost Per Order) rates.
  • Ensure all promotions are accurately entered into all BEC systems and that sales forecasts, recommendations and analyses are correct.
  • Open job tickets that describe artwork needed for upcoming placements.  Proof read and circulate artwork amongst creative, development, marketing and licensing team, to ensure all corrections are made.  Deliver final artwork to print production on time.

 

 



Required Skills:  

Education, Licensing, Certification, and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business, preferably Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a direct mail or direct response marketing analytic related position
  • Some experience working with Creative teams as well as 3rdparty brokers and vendors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office specifically solid spreadsheet proficiency - ex. Microsoft Excel; proficient in math and/or statistics
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal, in a fast-paced environment.
