POSITION TITLE: General Manager - Hydro excavation
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary DOE + bonus + vehicle allowance

LOCATION: Houston, TX
SUMMARY: The General Manager, will lead business development, partner with crew supervisors, be responsible for leading organization with effective leadership, communications and holding employees accountable.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver annual growth and profit objectives for the Hydro-vac division
Effectively manage the direct reports and, in partnership with the teams'' supervisors, the employees of the department
Identify key metrics and objectives for the Hydro-vac team and manage the accountabilities to deliver the objectives, consistently
Maintain positive employee relations and foster open communications
Develop new business opportunities, including participating in key customer visits and sales calls
In partnership with teams'' supervisors ensure that the crew members have the required training are customer focused, professional, knowledgeable, dependable, detail oriented and team oriented
Ensure that safety policy, quality standards and exceptional service standards are met at all times
Actively monitor financial plans against annual plans, forecasts, and year-to-date results
Effectively recruit, develop, hold accountable and retain employees
Implement actions to ensure objectives are achieved
Ensure that systems are in place to schedule trucks and crews to ensure customer satisfaction 24/7
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years'' industrial cleaning /hydro excavation services experience with an increasing scope of responsibilities
5+ years of management experience
Highly experienced in management of people finding a balance in development, performance focus, and retention of capable, reliable and customer focused employees
Outstanding track record in business development, growing sales and customer base
Excellent influencing, cooperation, and negotiation skills and the ability to use them appropriately
Respectful and earning respect and trust through outstanding integrity, dependability and work ethic.
Outstanding judgment, initiative, prioritization and follow-through in a customer-driven environment
Hands-on and pro-active
Results focused and able to install a culture of flexibility and success
Self-motivated, able to work independently, manage time and hit deadlines with calmness under pressure
