POSITION TITLE: Technical Sales Representative (TSR) /Business Development
COMPENSATION: $100k - $120k + commission + vehicle allowance
BENEFITS: Standard package + 401k
LOCATION: Houston, TX
SUMMARY: The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for Business Development activities within their assigned industrial storage and production tank owner customer base. The TSR is tasked with increasing target market awareness and creating acceptance of the companies bulk waste material removal technology.
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Call on new prospects and existing customers in order to present and review program capabilities and value relative to the robotic cleaning system''s bulk material removal that results in new business and increased revenue. Ensure that accurate program information flows to and from the customer base.
Work with the Business Development team to generate and implement a market plan to achieve assigned goals, be aware of and be responsive to market conditions and competitive activities, and communicate such information to the management team.
Work with the Partners to prepare and present bids and quotations to insure proper application of the technology. This may include job walks/work site visits, and joint customer visits with the Partners'' business development personnel.
Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive technology, competitor activity, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits.
Participate in trade shows and industry gatherings as appropriate.
Maintain the customer contact and business development database.
May include non-Business Development related duties as assigned.
Any and all other duties as required by management and/or the Company.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years Technical Sales experience.
Extensive experience working with or knowledge of AST cleaning and general bulk waste removal processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience preparing and presenting customer presentations.
Experience in preparing and presenting customer proposals.
Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information.
Effective time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Required utilization of the ecorobotics customer resource management tool - ACT.
